Bacon and Butter is a vibe! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I get either the kitchen sink or the breakfast burrito- the portions are big. FYI, there is usually a short wait time depending on what time you go. You can either sit at the bar or a table. They also have a really good music playlist. Definitely one of the yummier breakfast spots in the Sac area.

LOVE LOVE LOVE bacon and butter! The long 1-2 hour waits are so worth it. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This visit I had the breakfast burrito and it's my favorite savory item on the menu. The cheese skirt is amazing and everything in the burrito just scrambles well and has so much flavor! I always ask for a side of hot sauce and it pairs perfect. The potato skins were so crispy and had a good salty taste. I also decided to try the apple pie French toast as a sweet dish, and it was over the top delicious! The dish itself was not too sweet and the apples had a perfect crunch ratio, definitely shareable if you're looking for something sweet to eat after a savory dish. We also had the pancake shots, so good and so creative! The place can get busy inside, but they never rush you to eat and it doesn't seem too crowded or loud once you're inside. The ambiance outside is a little quieter and is also perfect if it's not too hot.

Very busy place. Get there early for sure on the weekend. Service has been excellent every time I've been there. My fav is their Biscuits, Bacon and Gravy also includes eggs. The bacon gravy is perfect not too thick so it doesn't become like a paste and the biscuit is flaky but crunchy on the outside. Sooo good!

It's a brunch spot of my list to check out, and I never really had a chance to make it out there until recently. Finally made it out, and man, it's officially on my brunch rotation. At the tail end of Broadway, the location is in an unsuspecting neighborhood. Upon arrival, it was BUSY. We showed up around 11 a.m. and probably would recommend showing up earlier. After a pretty accurate wait time of 1 hour by the wait staff, we finally get a seat. The staff was super friendly. The inside was popping. Lots of seating and every seat was occupied. I got the breakfast burrito over the Cali burrito due to the chorizo addition (love chorizo and not in that way weirdos) also a side of toast. Got a bloody medium spice to drink. The bloody was good, spices settled on the bottom, sip wisely. Lol. Food comes out, and toast is fluffy and filling. Burrito was cut into two and barely finished the first half before tapping out. Every dish looked delicious coming out (the kitchen has a big window and every dish made is on display). Left full and satisfied. Will be coming back again without a doubt soon.

7/7/2024 came this morning for brunch with a few of my girlfriends! It was our first time coming to Bacon & Butter. I must say everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious! Portion sizes were great too! It was a busy Sunday afternoon so we did have to wait a hour before we were seated but the long hour was totally worth the wait! I ordered the peaches and cream French toast and I will be absolutely ordering it again! It was the perfect amount of sweetness that I was wanting. I paired it with an orange juice that was actually pretty good! My friend ordered the banana cream waffles and she didn't leave a single bite behind. My other friend ordered the Denver omelette and she said it was one of the best omelettes she's ever had. We can't wait to come back!

Love this place! We have been a few times and their pastry items are really good. Always super busy so you gotta get there early. I always like doing the simple breakfast. You can pick 3-4 items from the sides list for $15-$18. Received 5 slices of thick bacon! Scrambled eggs cooked perfectly. The fingerling potatoes are crispy- $1 upcharge. I did the 4 item and the buttermilk pancake was included in that. The pancake was so good. Not your typical fluffy pancake. Was more dense and almost had that doughy vibe (was cooked through). Really good! It came with some sliced apples on top which worked perfectly for our daughter. I swear they have the best biscuits here! Gotta do biscuits and gravy or the biscuit sandwich wet style. This time we got the sausage biscuit sandwich. Omg the amount of melty, gooey cheese on there... so good! If you're gonna do potatoes you gotta get the crispy fingerling potatoes. Their regular house potatoes are bland and have no crisp. The churro donut holes were amazing. They had a thick coating of cinnamon sugar on the outside. Nice little starter if you come with a group. Next time I was to try the breakfast burrito. Someone next to us had it and it was loaded!! Remember to get there early. They have a line down the building by the time they open!

I haven't had brunch this delicious in so long! Came here on a Sunday ~ 9 am and the wait was only 25 mins. There's plenty of room inside and it's really cute! My friends and I ordered an apple pie French toast and a chicken and waffles. Apple pie French toast (9/10): Sooo delicious and unique! They also have a variation of this with pear which I think is better but regardless this was a great option! Chicken and waffles (10/10): My favorite on the menu! The waffles were perfect and the chicken was flavorful and crispy. I'll be back here next time I come to sac!

Bacon & Butter is a staple breakfast/brunch location in Sacramento! I currently live in Chicago but I'm from Sacramento (Elk Grove area) and my husband and I were home visiting so I decided to take him here for breakfast since I didn't have a chance to do so until recently. Upon our arrival, parking was a tad bit difficult since their private lot next to the restaurant is always full so we circled a little bit prior to finally securing a spot. Because the restaurant doesn't take reservations, our wait was about an hour (we came on a Friday morning) and we took the first seats available at the bar since we had no preferences to sit at a table or the bar (we were hungry so whatever had first availability, we were there). My husband ordered the grilled cheese benedict and I ordered the spring omelet (seasonal) while we shared the apple pie french toast. Everything was delicious! We thoroughly our food and yes, it made the wait worth it! Service and ambiance was great and our experience was spectacular. Will always return to this place regardless of the wait because the food always makes up for it but it would be cool to have a reservation system.
